Phone and map: fast travel and find your next quest
On the PC layout shown in the tutorial, press P to open the phone. Open its map, select an available district and press Space to travel. Check the quest list and map event markers before choosing an outing.
Travel from the phone
- Open the phone when available in free exploration.
- Choose the map and move through the listed districts.
- Read the event or quest information attached to the destination.
- Use the displayed Travel command; the PC video shows Space.
Understand the markers
An exclamation mark or a red event banner can indicate something happening in that area. Read that information rather than visiting every screen hoping to trigger a scene. Walking to the edge of a district is another travel route, but the phone avoids the extra walk.
Return after a break
Open the quest section first. Follow the current objective and any timing condition before starting an unrelated outing. The codex helps identify people and recall background information, but it is not the list of active tasks.
When nothing new is listed
Some story steps wait for later events. An empty quest list does not by itself establish a bug. If the phone itself will not respond, distinguish that input problem from having no available quest; the shortcut cannot force a story-locked destination open.
