Languages and voice acting in The Witch’s Bakery
Steam lists English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese for interface and subtitles. Full audio is not checked in that table.
Choose a supported reading language
Check your store’s language table for the edition you plan to buy. The Steam list distinguishes written language support from full audio. Spanish (Spain) should not be silently relabelled as a Latin American localisation, and Brazilian Portuguese is not a promise of a separate European Portuguese version.
Does it have full voice acting?
The developers explain in their Reddit AMA that the scope of the story prevented them from funding full voice acting. Do not buy on the assumption of fully voiced English or French dialogue. Sound effects and character noises are a separate matter.
What about other languages?
Russian, Korean, Turkish and Ukrainian are not in the verified Steam table. Their presence in a search query is not proof of a translation announcement. For text-display bugs, use the current platform discussion rather than assuming every demo-era translation report still applies.
